I'm so fucking sad and angry

So I'm currently making a game which aims to be a re-imagination of my first game I've ever made "Cube Attacks" but, I have been programing for a while at it and now as I try to add new mechanics I noticed that I've made a FUCKING mess, you see, when I started making the game I kinda forgot the part where when you code something you want it to be easily editable and coincide with everything and make sure it is all fluid, but now it just feels tacky and snappy, where the change is so sudden and so bad,

Sneak peak into the mess of a code

SO what happens is the following:

The movement is supposed to do its friction thingy and etc, but it ends up that even when there's NO input being help the character can get a sudden small acceleration and that the friction is changing mid air without a transition to it and not to tell the mess it would be to fix the current code.

So I'm starting it over, I think when I transitioned from godot 3 to godot 4 it also broke it and I didn't properly fix the code, so yeah I'm cooked.

Gonna need to REMAKE THE ENTIRE PLAYER MOVEMENT SCRIPT. FUCK MY LIFE
